We have expanded the scope and scale of our support campaign in the run-up to the event. Intensive public relations campaign, widespread advertising in 36 national and overseas journals, newspapers and electronic media both in radio and television made 12th Convergence India 2004 impossible to miss.

Online, the dedicated website www.convergenceindia.org furnished all the information and simplified exhibitor, visitor, conference delegate registration. The 12th Convergence India 2004 event was covered by all the relevant media in the run-up to the event, making the event a memorable experience.

1.6 Direct Mailing Campaign

  • Show update brochure

This four-coloured (six pager) brochure gave the latest information about the exhibitors and their product displays. 35,000 brochures were mailed approximately 6 weeks prior to the show to a large and qualified audience. The "show update" is a source of reference and information for all attendees to the event.

  • Plan-to-visit brochure

This four-coloured (six pager) brochure included the detailed conference programme and the updated exhibition information of the event. 35,000 brochures were mailed approximately 3 weeks prior to the show, making it an updated and vital reference and information material for all the conference delegates and attendees to the event.

  • 50,000 exhibition invitations were mailed to key prospects prior to the show to ensure quality attendance to the event.
  • 30,000 opening ceremony invitations were mailed to the industry, senior government officials and VIPs inviting them to the exhibition opening ceremony as well as to visit the exhibition.

1.7 Media Coverage

An extensive public relations campaign was run through out the country by Exhibitions India. Various press releases were issued by EI and this resulted in the event receiving phenomenal coverage. More than ___ articles appeared in leading Indian newspapers both in Hindi & English and national & international web portals.

The 12th Convergence India 2004 event received excellent electronic media coverage through out the country and abroad. Exhibition reports including the press conference, inaugural conference session, exhibition-opening ceremony were broadcasted and covered by leading television channels in the country.

1.8 Press Conference

Exhibitions India (EI) hosted a press conference on 17 March 2004 at Napolean I, Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi as a pre launch of the 12th Convergence India 2004 international exhibition and conference. The press conference set the ball rolling for a successful 12th Convergence India 2004 event.
